What’s the point of Twitter Symbols? Who cares if you’re eating cocoa puffs or watching the new episode of “Lost”?
I don’t get it. Are there any practical uses of Twitter Symbols? I can understand Facebook as that connects with friends through pictures, messages, and networks, but Twitter Symbols just seems like a useless chatroom. It has no structure and pretty much no purpose. Some businesses use it for advertising but even then, most announcements could be made on their site or on the superior Facebook.
So does anyone know why people use it?

Suppose it’s good for businesses and celebrities, but I do sometimes think why your ‘normal’ person uses it. Not sure why people are interested to know what your doing every hour…
